1. General Conditions of Use

By placing an order, you certify that you are legally eligible to purchase the items in your cart and that no state or local laws prohibit you from receiving them. All customers are responsible for knowing their local, state, and federal laws.

2. Firearms Sales & Transfer Policy

Federal Law Compliance Required

• All firearms must ship to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder
• You are responsible for providing a valid FFL for transfer. Orders will not ship until the FFL is received and verified
• You must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check at the receiving FFL before taking possession
• Firearms ship free to any valid FFL in the United States, except where prohibited

Firearms not picked up or denied during background check are subject to:

• A 15% restocking fee
• All return shipping costs
• Any transfer fees charged by the receiving FFL

3. Ammunition & Magazine Shipping Restrictions

We comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Orders containing ammunition or magazines will be cancelled if they violate any applicable law.

Capacity Limits Enforced

We do not ship magazines exceeding state-allowed capacity to:

If your state restricts magazine capacity, your order will be adjusted or cancelled accordingly.

4. Shipping Terms

We strive to process orders quickly and accurately. Shipping times may vary based on order volume, carrier delays, or compliance verification.

• All firearms ship free to any valid FFL
• Firearms ship only after FFL verification is complete

• Orders $200 or more ship free
• Orders under $200 ship for a flat $15 fee

• Customers may choose Ship to Store at checkout
• Orders will be delivered to our main retail location in Sigourney, Iowa
• Customers must present a valid ID at pickup
• Firearms still require completion of Form 4473 and a background check at pickup

5. Payment & Sales Tax

• We collect sales tax on all orders shipped to states where we are legally required to do so
• Payment must be completed at checkout. Orders are not processed until payment clears
• Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension

6. Order Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

• Firearm orders cancelled before shipping are subject to a 10% cancellation fee
• Firearms returned due to failed background checks are subject to:
  • 15% restocking fee
  • Return shipping costs

• Accessories may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging
• Customer pays return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect

7. Compliance & Legal Responsibility

Customer Certification Required

By purchasing from us, you affirm that:

• You are not prohibited from owning firearms or ammunition
• You understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws
• You will not attempt to purchase restricted items for unlawful purposes

8. Privacy & Security

• Customer information is used solely for order processing, compliance, and communication
• We do not sell or share customer data with third parties except as required by law

9. Limitation of Liability

• We are not responsible for misuse, improper installation, or unsafe handling of firearms or accessories
• All products should be used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and applicable laws

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Compliance Statement

J&K Trading Post is committed to full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing the sale, transfer, shipping, and ownership of firearms, ammunition, magazines, and related accessories. We take our legal responsibilities seriously and require all customers to do the same.

We strictly follow all rules and requirements established by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), including:

• All firearms must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder
• Customers must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check
• We do not ship firearms directly to individuals
• We maintain accurate Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) records as required by federal law

For NFA-regulated items such as suppressors, short-barreled rifles, or machine guns:

• All transfers follow the ATF Form 4 or Form 3 process
• Items will not be released until ATF approval is received
• Customers must comply with all federal and state NFA requirements
